There are so many CBD products out on the market today to treat everything from pain to sleep and anxiety. As well as other mental health concerns.
This one is no surprise. CBD has been known to reduce anxiety in people without a mental disorder. It has also shown a reduction in anxiety that was induced by people who suffered from social anxiety.
Although there is no specific study that could be found in order to provide information that CBD is a good candidate for treating depression, there have been studies in mice. So although there have not been any official studies conducted, there are positive results that CBD may help with this disorder.
Sleep is a study that has to show a positive outcome when it comes to consuming CBD. Studies have shown that people suffering from insomnia have had a significant increase in sleep quality.
So in conclusion, there is evidence that CBD is an alternative to pharmaceuticals when it comes to treating or alleviating certain conditions in mental illness. Although studies are in their infancy and more studies need to be conducted to prove that CBD is a good alternative, the evidence thus far is leaning in favor of CBD.
